Starting Work as a Translator or Interpreter

An event arranged jointly by the Institute of Translation and Interpreting and the University of Westminster, with support from the Capital L London Consortium and the National Networks for Translation and for Interpreting.

This one-day event will cover questions on:
• The qualities and skills you need to work as a translator or interpreter
• How to get organised – and where to find help
• Breaking through the ‘no experience – no work’ barrier
• Pricing and financial aspects of being a translator or interpreter.
There will be a question and answer session and time for networking.
